# Demo asset sources

All selected films are temporary demo material from the existing Rodrigo Bustamante portfolio. The user explicitly authorized using Rodrigo videos as placeholders for the David Friedrich design demo. No film, client, credit, biography, or award in this manifest is attributed to David Friedrich.

## Source and verification

- Source metadata: `rodrigo-bustamante/js/main.js` and `rodrigo-bustamante/minimal/app.js`, read from the current checkout on 2026-09-07. Titles preserve the main/minimal site's original wording. The art variant uses alternate shorter titles for some films; those were not mixed into this manifest.
- Media base: https://r2.waltschmer-digital.de/rvb/
- All 12 poster URLs, 12 loop URLs, and 12 film URLs passed live HTTP HEAD checks on 2026-09-07. Each reports the correct image/jpeg or video/mp4 Content-Type and `Accept-Ranges: bytes`.
- Only poster images were downloaded. Full film and loop URLs remain remote. No full video downloads were performed.
- Every local project poster is an exact copy of its existing R2 JPEG, fetched using a fresh query key to avoid an older cached high-resolution image. No sharpening, AI enlargement, color grading, or retouching was applied.
- Commercial posters are 853 × 480; Social posters are 360 × 640. Together the 12 project posters weigh 314,443 bytes.
- `hero-detail.jpg` is an unchanged copy of the existing local `rodrigo-bustamante/assets/hero-poster.jpg` (1600 × 900). It is an optional mood image, not assigned to a project in the manifest.
- No larger existing eSprinter poster was found in the current Rodrigo checkout. The verified public JPEG is 853 × 480; it is sufficient for the grid and can remain a quick hero fallback before the loop loads.
- Durations are intentionally omitted because no verified duration metadata was supplied.
- `media-checks.json` contains the live URL response metadata, including byte sizes. These checks establish availability, not an end-to-end playback guarantee; the demo player must still be tested in a browser.

## Visual selection notes

- **eSprinter** is the recommended first hero: clear horizontal composition, warm rock formations, cyan sky, and room around the subject. Use the film's muted loop as movement and the JPEG as its instant fallback.
- **VfB / LBBW** adds people, red flags, and collective energy. Its landscape poster includes black letterboxing within the source image; preserve that or crop deliberately in the preview, while the player should show the complete film.
- **AMG Thrill** provides a darker, detailed counterpoint. Its wristwatch close-up reads well on a black grid.
- **V-Class** supplies brighter Riviera light. **eCitaro** contains visible campaign typography already burned into the image.
- The seven Social selections are portrait films and should be displayed in a distinct portrait row/grid. Several Mercedes-Benz Vans sources visibly include TikTok branding; keep the source intact and treat it as temporary demo material.

## Implementation expectations

Use local posters for immediate display. Load `preview` only when needed for the hero or an intentional hover, respecting reduced motion and data-saving preferences. Attach `film` only after a click and play it in a native in-page video element with controls. Preserve original aspect ratio in the player. Keep the demo attribution visible in the page and player until David's own assets replace this material.
